Check-in Policy

Check-in time is 2pm. If the guests arrive early, we will gladly store your luggage. Early check-in is based on bed/room availability and can’t be guaranteed. Guests will be charged 1 night stay for early check-in.

Check-out Policy

Check-out time is 12nn. Late check-outs can be requested but are not guaranteed. Check-out after 12pm will be charged half of the room rates. Please contact our front office for more information.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation received 24 hours after the booking date will incur the first 1 night charge. Any cancellation received within 7 days prior to arrival will incur the full period charge. Failure to arrive at our hostel will be treated as no-show and no refund will be given. In-case when guest decided to leave on an early date as expected, no refund will be given.

Children Policy

Maximum of 1 child below 7 years old is free-of-charge provided no extra-bed is used.

Billing and Registration Policy

Upon check-in, valid identification card and hotel voucher are required. Registration form should be filled-up by guests. Failure to provide such requirements will result to dishonouring of your booking.

Settlement of Bills and Payments Policy

Bills must be settled upon presentation. Guests will be asked to pay the full accommodation rates. Cash basis only.

Extra-bed Policy

Mattresses and pillows are available for a fee. Availability can’t be guaranteed.

Smoking Policy

Mayon Backpackers Hostel is a 100% non-smoking facility. Smoking is not permitted within the hostel premises.

Food and Beverage Policy

Guests may eat and drink in the common areas only. Strictly no eating or drinking inside the guest rooms.

Pet Policy

We do not allow dogs or other animals in the hostel.

Noise Disturbance Policy

Quiet time is from 10pm to 6am. If guests wish to socialize during this time, please keep noise to a minimum after midnight.

Internet, Computer and Wi-Fi Policy

Please note standard internet service is complimentary. Internet is limited for e-mailing and social networking only. Please note that using of Wi-Fi is not meant for streaming large media files, watching movies or gaming. Free-to-use computer is only available from 6am to 11pm.

Left Luggage Policy

Subject to availability of the storage space, guests can store luggage in the luggage room, at the guest’s sole risk as to loss or damage from any cause, luggage may not be stored for period of over 15 days.

Parking Policy

Parking is subject to space availability. For all means, we will base on first come first serve. Hostel assumes no liability of belongings, or loss/damage to the vehicle. Park at your own risk.

Lost and Found Policy

Lost and found items will be kept in our storage room. We will send a text message or e-mail to notify the guest about the lost items. The hostel reserves the right to dispose the items without any liability.

Damage to Property Policy

Guests will be held responsible for any damage to the hostel property. The hostel also reserves the right to call the police in case of guests refusing to pay for the damage.

Guest Belongings Policy

Guests should not leave their belongings unattended. Management will not be responsible for any loss property of guests.

Security Policy

The hostel reserves the right to check guest luggage at any point of time during the stay in-case of emergency. Firearms, explosives, suspicious materials, hazardous agents, illegal drugs and chemicals are not permitted. Licensed firearms are to be declared to the hostel upon checking-in.

Free Breakfast Policy

Free complimentary breakfast is available from  6am to 9 am only.

Housekeeping Policy

Guest rooms will be cleaned once a day only.

Management Rights

The Management reserves to itself, the absolute right of admission to any person in the hostel premises and to request any guest to vacate his or her room at any moment without previous notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever, and the guest shall be bound to vacate when requested to do so. In default, the Management will be entitled to remove the luggage and belonging of the visitor from the room occupied by him or her and lock the room. The management also reserves the right to change any policies, rules and regulations from time to time. In-case of any dispute, decision of the hostel will be considered as final and binding. Any experience in the hostel premises, is subject to pune jurisdiction only.

Rights of Admission Reserved

The Hostel, and the entire building as a facility complex, is a Private Property, for which “Rights of Admission Are Reserved”. The Management can ask any guest to vacate/leave the premises on ground of disturbance or posing a threat to the Employees/ Other Guests or violating any policies/terms of the Hostel.
